MEDEO
Residents of the Vernoye fortification grazed cattle in the Medeo tract at an altitude of about 1700 meters above sea level. This place got its name in memory of Medeo Pusurmanov, who lived here and did charity work. And the world-famous high-mountain skating rink Medeo was built in 1972 and many records were set on its ice. The skating rink is filled with clean water from a mountain river, and when the sun warms up, a thin layer of water forms on the surface, which makes sliding easy. Skating and speedway competitions are held here, mass skating is held in the evenings and on weekends.


Central State Museum, Almaty
The museum has 3 floors and a total area of 17,557 sq. m. On its territory there are 4 exhibition halls and exhibition galleries. Today, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty has more than 200 thousand exhibits in its collection, which are monuments of the material and spiritual culture of the country .

KOK-TOBE
Mount Kok-Tobe is green and low, but it offers a magnificent view of the city. At the bottom is the cable car station.
The park is located near the city on Mount Kok-Tobe (Green Hill) at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. On the slope of Mount Kok-Tobe is the famous 372-meter Almaty television tower - a symbol of the city and one of the tallest buildings in the city. On the territory of the park there are: an observation deck, a TV tower, a stage, cafes and restaurants, attractions, souvenir shops, a petting zoo, a climbing wall, a zoo, an exotarium, an alley of lovers and a monument to The Beatles' Bench. Central mosque of Almaty city
One of the largest mosques in Kazakhstan. The grandiose building is designed for 7 thousand visitors. The mosque has been functioning since 1999. The mosque is crowned with a blue dome with a diameter of 20 meters and a height of 36 meters. The height of the large minaret is 47 meters. In 2000, the large dome was decorated with verses from the Koran in calligraphic performance by Turkish masters. Architects - Baimagambetov and Sharapiev.
