Tour program
As part of a two-day tour to Kolsai and Kaindy lakes, on the first day, tourists arrive in the village of Saty, from where, after lunch / lunch and a short rest at the hotel, they continue their journey to the first lake (about 30 minutes), located in a narrow picturesque gorge of a forest zone with slopes, covered with endemic Schrenk blue firs of fantastic beauty. The hiking route runs along the eastern slope of the gorge and provides an amazing opportunity to see the panorama of the Tien Shan Mountains with a lake changing its color. Upon return - dinner and overnight.
On the second day - breakfast and departure to the neighboring gorge, where the amazing lake Kaindy is located. This is a relatively young lake, formed in 1911 after an earthquake. The collapse of the slope blocked the gorge and formed a lake. The most amazing thing here is that all the blue spruces at the bottom of the gorge were flooded with water after the formation of the lake, their trunks still come out of the water today like fabulous arrows aimed at the sky.
A trip to the Kolsai Lakes and Lake Kaindy may include a visit to the Charyn Canyon in accordance with the program: in the first half of the day or on the way back in the afternoon.
